Rules of use
How niecartagena.com works: an independent private service that informs and prepares, never decides, and promises no outcome, no date and no deadline.
Last updated in October 2026. Please read these rules before using niecartagena.com or sending us a request; using the site means you agree to them.
1. What NIE Cartagena is
A privately run service, independent of every public body. No police unit, government delegation, immigration office or town hall of Cartagena and its coast stands behind it, and it does not speak in their name. We explain the procedures that newcomers face on this coast and help them get their files ready; the decisions are the administration’s alone.
2. The value of our pages
We write each page carefully and check it against the official sources it names at the time of writing. Rules, forms and office arrangements move on, and general pages cannot take account of your own situation. Check the official source before a decisive step, or write to us. These pages are not legal or tax advice.
3. Requests
A message to us, whichever way it arrives, places no obligation on anyone. If you then want our help, we describe it in writing, with its price, and begin only once you have accepted. Where a partner firm would handle your case, you are told before anything is passed on.
4. Fees, and what we cannot promise
State fees such as the 790-012 belong to the State; our own charges, if any, are agreed in advance and come on top. Preparation makes an appointment smoother but never settles its result, so no decision, date or deadline is ever promised. Every procedure described here can be done by you alone, for the official fees.
5. Links
Some links point to official pages, others to partner firms. Each of those sites answers for its own content and conditions.
6. Responsibility
Administrative decisions, changes in the rules after a page went online, how many slots the booking system offers and the failures of official websites all lie outside our control and our responsibility.
7. Questions and law
Write to harbour@niecartagena.com with any question about these rules. Spanish law applies, without depriving a consumer of the protection of the law where they live.
